T-Case jack adapter plate

Does anyone have a t-case adapter plate already made up that they would be willing to mail to me? I will of course pay shipping both ways... and include a 6 pack of your choosing.

Trying not to reinvent the wheel here.

Cheers

I bought a transmission jack for about $60 with the head that can pivot. Worked great for me.
Very similar to http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...temnumber=3185 (could be the same as I bought it on sale from HF).
Anyway..... If you're looking for other options....

It's not reinventing the wheel. Just make one based on the instructions in the shop manual.
A well made one is heavy and will cost a good bit to mail.

I had not seen this one. Most I saw were double the price. I may just get one. Thanks for the good input.

I assume you have an autobox, I bought one of those and it didn't work worth a crap with the R380.

No, both the trucks are 5-speed. But it is true that I only took the T-Case in/out with this jack.

If I had to do the gearbox, I'd probably build a support with wood pieces that I would attach to the flat part of the jack.

If I remember correctly, the flat part of the T-Case is angled (maybe 20 degrees) and the gearbox is roundish, right?

take your seat box out and use an engine hoist, rent or buy.

Get your auto-inquisitive neighbor to help you. You won't need a special jack. Get the t-case into the air with a good rolling floor jack and the two of you can lift it into position.

Your neighbor needs a 6-pack too you know.

I went that route once, but I think it is more of a PITA considering all my wiring these days...
