Swap tops from different years

I have a soft top from a '95 someone gave me. It's not in bad shape but does have a small tear in a rear corner. Anyway, with a rail system already iin place for the badger top I have on the '94, can I pull the Badger top and gutter kit off and put the stock '95 top on?

I don't think there would be issues but just checking.

The holes for the screws that hold the rails on the tub should line up for the snaps for the 95 soft top, at least on my 90 they do.

'95s have snaps? I thought they used a rail system?

I get so confused.

A belt rail top will fit a vehicle with belt rails, but some bestops have the vertical bar behind the door window where as some just have the stiffner piece. The bar bolts into a rivnut only found on 95 and 97 trucks - so you can put an early bestop on a 94 with belt rails, but if you want to put a late bestop on a 94 you have to add the rivnuts or leave out the bar. I'm not aware of any more than two basic versions of bestops.

My bad, I thought you were asking if you could convert your rails back to snaps.
