Suspension and wheel spacers

So its about time for Spring cleaning... or in my case "Spring-Truck-Projecting." I am currently running 285/70r16s on my stock wheels. I am getting some rubbing and turning radius is that of a tank. How well would wheel spacers help this problem?

Also I am running the suspension that was on the truck when I bought it (3" lift). The articulation is pretty poor. What type of suspension kits would help? I know a lot of folks use OME.. any other recommendations. Maybe take it down to a 2" lift? Thanks.

Yes spacers will give you a little more turning radius. As far as the articulation you need to start with figuring out what you have right now. What are the extended/retracted length of the shocks you have. What kind of springs are they. What is the height of your truck ground to center of axle on all four wheels on flat ground. Once you have this information you can figure out what is missing and figure out what you need to change. Remember the more articulation you get the more you are going to spend to get it.

If you think your articulation is poor now just install the OME springs, you'll have even less articulation.

Thanks for breaking it down Barney-style for me. I will get the measurements and then try to plan it out... and hopefully without completely breaking the bank.
