Anyone ever mount this winch feet forward on an ARB bumper, without relocating the seleniod?

Good idea?

I mounted one feet forward on an a TJM on a Disco. I did relocate the solenoid because I wanted it higher but I really liked the setup. I mounted the remote control plug in the grill, FWIW.

I mounted it feet forward on an ARB without relocating the solenoid. I used some washers as spacers to get it to fit in the box. I believe ARB sells a kit that has solid spacers. I have since relocated the control box because getting the control cable plugged in from the grill side was a PITA. I'll take a few pictures if you'd like.

Thanks. Yes, some photos would be cool.

I spoke with Superwinch and ordered their solenoid relocation kit. Should be here this week.
