All roller bearings have a cross reference. Look up the number stamped on the shell and go find its brother out there in Bearing Land. There must be a hundred web sites that have bearing crosses.

Ok, I'll forward it onto the mechanic working on it.

It seemed like a big issue, but sounds like it may not be if that is the solution.

Mechanic is JC's Rover in Denver.

I stay away from working on the supercharger.

Thanks,

Josh

I have a Rimmer/Magnuson but it is on a 97 with a serpentine. It doesn't have a seperate tensioner pulley so I'm not sure how that works on a 3.9. I had to have mine rebuilt a couple of years ago and although it wasn't a great experience, I shipped it off to Magnuson in California and they did the work. Maybe they can help?

Checked with Magnusson.

They can work on the supercharger itself but not the tensioner pulley. JC cobbled something together with a bearing, it is working, but the belt squeels like mad.

I am still trying to find a better solution.

Thank you!

cobbled together? that doesn't sound good. isn't the tensioner a LR part?
there used to be a bearing place on second avenue & bryant st. in denver that I used years ago, i'm sorry that i don't recall the name, but they did lots of stuff for the hot rod community. i bet they could help.

I don't understand the issue. Got any pictures? I'm with Bill - a bearing is a bearing, assuming you can press out the old and press in a new one, there shouldn't be any cobbling.
