sun roof issue

There seems to be an area of glass thats not pressed against the seal. its above the handle that turns the class shut (picture attached). The sun roof knob seems like it's doing its job, the knob isn't stripped the only thing is it seems like the glass is bowed a bit right about the knob area on the rear portion of the sun roof. I wish the knob would allow me to give it a turn or two more.

What should I do, a new sun roof cost 500 + installation.

Any help here would be appreciated. I've already taken the glass off and cleaned the rubber etc.

Thanks.

Is there some kind of tab that gets hooked and pulled down? If so bend that a bit so that it pulls it down a little more with the same amount of rotation from the knob?

I use 2 hands to get mine to seal down properly. 1st turn it down snug with one hand. Then I found that if you press up on the knob (you'll notice it flexes) while turning with your other hand, it'll seal much more tightly.

Just spit balling. Had a friend of mine in high school do this and it worked for him.

not on my head, it comes throught the head liner, and drip in on the corners of the front in between the headliner and roof. When the rain comes down hard, the water travels down to foot well. I tested the roof with a hose and the water came in like crazy. Call me.

My guess is the handle is worn out. Last year I sold 19 handles if that tells you anything. Could be wrong of course but we have suggested this and used it and it has fixed the issue 100% of the time so far.
