Question Suggestions for SSRs (NY area maybe)

Well it's about time to order new tires for the Cube.
My SSRs are close to the end and I would like to get another set, 285/75-16.
The best price I got in Italy is 245 each which I can't afford.

I could buy a new set and have it shipped to Italy by boat through the company I work for,
the tires get usually collected in a warehouse in NY area (can't remember exactly).

Any suggested/recommended Interco dealer for a good price?
I did checked out NTW, Desert Rat and a few others, most of them don't have my size in stock
and ETA is up to 2 months, and prices come out quite high anyway.

I can get KM2s, readily available and at a reasonable price, but I'd really love to get another set of SSRs.

Offer still stands to send them over in my container, but slow, slow, slow....

Get the boots? I had a friend post them from Germany.

Michele,

I have a set of 33x12.5x16s... I actually have 6. They are circa 2004 and have about 6000 miles on them. They have been used on the rocks, but are in good shape. 2 of them are spares. They are mounted on the stock alloys.

Thanks for the offer Scott,
unfortunately they have to be 285/75-16 accordingly to what the logbook says
and in order to buy/import via the company I need a commercial invoice...

These tires are becoming too expensive...ouff...

Like, this time next year! But free...

The boots should have been shipped already. Hopefully they didn't come back...

SSRs are not that much better than BFGs. You are not missing much, if anything at all.

Maybe...voice of reason says go for KM2 and save €€€...
But I really love the Interco thread design and - I might be wrong, and should check - I think they're slightly taller than BFGs.

Anyway, just called at least 4 shops across US before leaving the office, and everybody told me the same thing, one of Interco manufacturers closed and production is way behind.
Available again in 2 months at least...damn...

Thumbs up Done.

Well in the end I found probably the last 4 SSRs on Earth

(although Topgun Customz said to have another set of 4 in stock)

Very happy, they will come dearer than KM2s but I am "no compromise" on some things...
Thanks to those who offered to help, I'll maybe try the BF next time!

I should get hold of them towards May...can't wait...
