Subwoofer Box Builders

Anyone have a recommendation for a sub box builder familiar with the D-90 besides Carey Knause? I've tried to give him my business, but it seems that he is overwhelmed with life at the moment.
If I had the time, and the garage space- I'd take it on myself, but unfortunately I'm short on both.
Not interested in the plastic OEM version, nor mounting the sub anywhere other than the rear door, so I'm limited to a custom-built wooden box.

Anyone with a name up their sleeve?

Thanks!

I don't have any help on custom fab boxes, but have you thought about the new Alpine sub that coming on the new Defender models? Although the typical install has it behind the center cubby, I don't see why it couldn't be mounted directly to the door. Google Land Rover Defender subwoofer for better pics of it installed.

Wasn't aware, but very cool for sure; thanks for posting. Not wild about using a powered sub on the rear door (high impact/water exposure), but sounds like an excellent option for those interested in a cubby mount.

Disregard- Carey reached out to me and we're back in business.

Maxx- give him a shout (EWR); the sub box I know he can do, and the sound bar he can most certainly figure out.

I had a custom sub box fitted to look like a rear bench in 110. Had it water proofed and a metal grate on the top incase someone decides to sit on it. They even put in a cubbie hole to store all my recovery gear next to it with the extra space. Ill shoot a picture in the morning. I love this set up because it hides the expensive sub from any curious criminals. It's not like my 110 would hard to break into. But this way it does not look like there is anything worth stealing.

Thanks Josh !

themaxx.....let me know what you're looking for in regards to a sound bar. I'm sure that's easily achievable.

I had a local wood worker create boxes for me in my D90. Fits behind the jump seats. PM me for his name and contact info. We are in Columbus, OH.

Looks good Moto.....

I build mine to incorporate the radius of the tub so it just disappears.
I'd love to hear a Pioneer shallow 8 sub that's ported. How tight is the bass?

I'm looking for one too

Perfect timing. I am re-doing the ancient system my d90 came with and really would prefer to mount my Pol 10" sub on the rear door if feasible.
Carey can you do this/recommend it?

A few pics. Carey did a fantastic job on it and I couldn't be more pleased with his work. Sounds great too for a single 10".
