Stupid T-case question....

When you run without the drum brake and drum brackets, do you have to keep the bolts in? It's been a while since I had it apart but I am going to pull it next weekend and remove it for good. I am wondering if there is an integrity issue with the bolts behind the drum that hold the pads and backplate. Thanks

Made it further than half of the other guys, but the Hammers won.

The bolts to the driveshaft should be replaced with shorter ones like on the front, but the rest of it you can leave off without issue. BTW I sent you a PM to see if I could buy the drum assembly off you.

Thanks guys. I was thinking that I would cut a spacer for the d-shaft as I worry that the drum missing will make the shaft a little too short. Good to know it can come off though.

I few very accurate width washers on each stud would do the same thing and would save you replacing the studs.
