Hi Steve...by no power do you mean absolutely none? no cranking, no horn no lights? if you have nothing then I would check battery leads and connections first...
good luck and keep us posted
George

I would check:
Distributor for water ingress...water under the cap
coil connections
Plug wires
ECU and EFI relays for water ingress
Those are the usual suspects when things die after getting wet.

What year is your 90?
Funny that the mechanic is already talking about how long it will take to get parts when he has yet to diagnose the problem!

I'd go through the list Rob posted above. I'll bet you will find the problem, and you can fix it yourself.

Good luck

p.s. If you're stranded and need someone to wire you some beer money, let us know.

steve look at the 15 amp fuse -top right inside the center console bank. Mine loosened and eventually fell out after I had pulled the console out for a project. I know you had your console out this summer. It is easy to snag a few of the fuses when you work the forward end of the console back into place. If the fuse is blown or out you will hear fuel pump, radio etc-but no dash lights, wipers or ignition. Hope you get on the road soon. Is the top keeping you dry? How did the paint work turn out? JP

oh yeah i need beer money wired to me ASAP!!!

JP, the truck looks great! keeping me dry? enough i guess.

oh yeah did i mention i needed beer money??
