Stereo CDE code?

Hi everyone. I had a fuse blow and the radio died. After replacing the fuse, the stereo displays "CDE 0000"
How do I obtain the unlock code?

At the least you're going to have to pull the radio to get the factory information. Hopefully the code will be written on the radio...if not (others please chime in for correction) call an LR dealer and they may be able to look it up....it is out there....Good Luck.

I had been digging around since yesterday, and I finally got lucky earlier today! Somewhere at the bottom of a folder, I found an original LR card with both the stereo S/N and security code. Hopped on the car as soon as I could and got the thing unlocked, but thanks a lot guys for the quick responses

You could call/go to the local dealer, give them the vin and etc, and they should be able to provide you with it.

I had to do this after I bought my truck.

(I wrote this right after you posted, but never hit submit!)

I love Cd. Obregon. My dad had a friend who lived there and we use to drive from Phoenix to see him when I was a kid. Good luck with the radio.
