steering stabilizer

I just got an OME front steering dampener/stabilizer and I was wandering how difficult it is to install? Do I need to lift the front wheels off the ground to replace? is the old stabilizer under tension/compression if I don't get the wheels off the ground?

thanks everyone!

Just go for it. The only difficulty is that the damper may want to turn when you are trying to undo the nuts.

I have the same OME damper installed, I dont recall that I had to jack front end off the ground to install it.

Yepper.... very easy compared to the old gas tank craddle.

i just replaced mine original with a bilstein. did not have to jack up the front. you may have to use a large screw driver to help line the holes up.
