steering link removal

Pulling the ball joints from my axle everything came apart without issue except the steering link... took out the pin removed the nut...

and nothing...

can't seem to pry or hammer it off... what's the trick? I'm guessing it's just rusted in place but wanted to check to be sure I'm not missing something else...

"well... we're not building a piano"

smack the knuckle with a BHF right where the ball joint inserts into the knuckle. Just below the ball joint.. One or two shots and it pops right out.

I use two hammers. Hold one in place and then strike opposite it with the other hammer.
