Steering hose routing
I'm trying to install new steering hoses on my '97. As the old hoses have been off my Rover for over a year, I forget exactly how to route them. (Haven't driven it in a while since working on various repair projects). The reservoir to steering box hose is simple enough. But on the reservoir to pump, I wonder if I have it installed backwards. The first two pics are from the drivers side. While it may not show in the first pic, there is a hard kink in the top of the hose to make the 90 degree turn to hook up to the pump. This doesn't seem right.
The last pic is of course the passenger side. That all being said it makes me scratch my head on why they didn't just relocate the reservoir to the drivers side in LHD trucks. Would have saved a good 8 feet of hose.
