Steering guard bracket design

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a template to make my own steering guard brackets ?

They cost a fortune to ship, so I will look into getting some made locally.

full width

The kind that bolts to the frame rails up front and protects the steering links is what I'm looking for. Like: http://www.rebel4x4.co.uk/steering_guards.htm

Not really. What I want is to get some plans (which I would share) so that you can get some made locally rather that ordering and getting it shipped. The actual steering guard is such a simple item that it seems that it should be easy to get it made locally. But it you buy it from a parts supplier, it costs more to ship it than the steering guard itself !

If I make you one and ship it to you, then the benefit becomes null... again, the problem is the shipping cost... Don't get me wrong, I would be happy to get more than one made.

I will be getting a bunch of aluminum parts made: back corner protectors, door bottom protectors, bonnet protector... etc... all for the same reason: shipping.
