Steering box LEAKSSSSS

Is there a better replacement or just buy a new one and from where or used?

Meridian here, as per fij's advice, still no leaks.

Also just got a Meridian. They were fast, and really helpful over the phone. I also wasn't sure which style to get; the guy I spoke with told me that 82-00108 is sold much more commonly than 82-00109, so that's the one I got. And it fit. For me, it was $265 + $160 core deposit +$30 ground shipping. Three year warranty. Pretty good, I think.

Steering is so much better now; I don't have to saw the wheel back and forth to stay in my lane.

Meridian for me as well, transaction was super easy and they give you a return label and you use the same box for the core return. Samy price as Tommy above.

I have a weird thing going in with my steering.
New box
New pump
New lines
New drop arm.

After doing the job, one of the lines was leaking. It was leaking where the rubber hose is clamped to the metal pipe. It's the factory clamp on the line. I think this is the return line. Every time I touch the metal pipe under the clamp on the rubber hose it was wet. I figured the line was defective so I replaced it again. Same thing is going on with the new line. Could I have two defective lines or could this pipe be getting wet from somewhere else? The fluid isn't really red but if it is coming from the steering it has to be the slightest seepage leak. It's not coming from my radiator and if my oil line had a hole I would think I would see a bigger mess.

Thoughts?

So this line is leaking
http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/NTC2595.cfm

It leaks at the factory clamp on the left side. This is the second new one to leak. Could it indicate there is too much pressure in my system? It is all new and works fine but this line has seepage.

Thanks

Mine was doing the same thing. I ended up clipping off the clamp, cleaning up the hard pipe end and buying some bulk PS hose. Reclamping with a good quality worm clamp and bingo, no more leaks

The leaks appear to come from the drop leg.

Has anyone had a Meridian box fail or need service either in or out of warranty?
