I have the genuine part bonnet mount spare kit for alloy wheels. I switched to NATOs this year and want to know what part of the bonnet mount kit I need to replace in order to use the steels. I've not installed the bonnet mount kit yet, so I have the complete kit in the box for alloys. Thanks!
I might have to agree with Marchand - I rarely use mine, but I like to know I can. And it looks really cool and covers up the ripple effect of a beer bottle thrown from atop the Hyatt on Sunset Strip.
Have to replace the ring piece (for the steelies it is just a solid ring) and get the two bolts that hold the ring down. I just ordered it from Les at RN. George could have them too, never know.
Yeah Wicks, same here. Like the look and know I can put a spare up there if necessary. I've just come into a "found" bonnet off a donor vehicle. So I have one with and one without. Very nice.
I had the tire mounted on the hood of my 2A for years, get a good bumper for off road as the tire limits visibility. it looks grat and people will stare at you all day.
Will the American Racing 16x7 rims that Gulf Coast Rovers sell work with a hood mount kit?
