I currently have RTE springs and I feel they are too stiff for my truck. I have RR4-2 up front and RR1-2 in the rear. Setup on the truck:
95 SW, Rockware front bumper, Warn XD9000 with wire rope, AB Skid plate, Bilstein 7100s, 33x12.50, Mantec rear carrier, roof rack, rock sliders, no sway bars
Main issue is the front springs. The front wheels don't tuck up at all (it's not the radius arms binding) off road and cause the truck to lean unnecessarily when going over obstacles. It's also a very stiff ride on the trail. Plus side, it handles about the same as it did with no lift and sway bars when on the road. The rockware bumper isn't all that heavy and the winch is 80 pounds.. so I'm thinking I have about 160 pounds of extra crap on the front. I think that puts me in the range of a medium duty spring. Was thinking OME of Terrafirma but i'm open to suggestion. Was looking at heavy duty for the rear. I normally carry 2 people and about 150 pounds of crap when hitting the trail. I'm also ok if it has a little rake to it. I need to maintain roughly 1.5-2 inches of lift for the 7100s to clear when fully compressed.
Does a heavy rear and medium front work in this setup? Based on my searches OME seems to be the crowd favorite but are there other products I should consider?
Land Rovers are by far the best looking 4x4 on the back of a flatbed...
