Speedometer GPS Interface Module?

Does anyone have any experience with the following:

I was considering connecting it to the VDO Vision Electronic Programmable speedo:

94D90 NAS 3.9 LT77 LT230T Soft Top

Wouldn't work well in NYC ... but is an interesting idea!

Not sure of the point. A programmable electronic one will be better and very accurate. Works everywhere unlike GPS.

I agree with John B. here. While very cool, I think this solves a problem that doesn't exist...at least, not for us. This might be useful if you had some strange type of vehicle that wasn't easy to convert to a pulse-driven speedo. For us, there's not really a point.
