Speedi Sleeve on a drive flange

For those who have installed one did you remove the flange off of the Speedi Sleeve after installing it?

I installed it with the flange on and made sure the seal was well seated into the housing. No more leak!!
****Disclaimer**** No leaking flange as of right now.

I should have taken pictures while I did this but I didn't, sorry.
Not much to it......
Remove the four bolts holding the drive shaft in place.
Pull cotter pin, remove the big nut and remove the flange.
Yank out the seal.
Wipe out the input area of the axle.
Lube the new seal and seat it in. I used the back of a hub spanner to push it in place as I hammered the spanner.
Wipe the drive flange clean and slide on the Speedi Sleeve using the provided tool and a hammer.
Grease the new flange surface and put it all back together.
Easy peasy!!!

Thanks. It was the sleeve install I was curious about. What size or model did you use?

I've posted pics of the speedi sleeve install somewhere on here along the way. That said,it's pretty straight forward not much really to install. Galpin let me know what questions you have specifically.

Thanks Dave! Jason, I wasn't sure how they installed - didn't realize they had a lip.
