Dunno, sorry.

LR speakers suck, so I've never really used them for anything but filling the trash can.

To do a 5" speaker or something like that in the lower dash you'll have to build the LH out so far that it will look goofy (IMO) and will probably hook your leg when you get in and out. Its the reason we move them to the doors, but to each his own.

I hear ya Mike but I wasn't planning on pimpen-ze-auto with an over-the-top sound system. I just need a pair of speakers for the CB and I wasn't even going to put a stereo in. I picked the LR speakers because they look the least like a spaceship. The door doesn't seem like a great location either to be honest. It's closer to the foot than the lower dash is. Thanks for the info though, I certainly appreciate it.
