Spare tire rear door mount question

Alright so I have the spare tire mounted to the rear door. I want to take it off, along with the bracket because I'm going to fab up a whole swing away job that will connect to the rear cross member. So once I take off the rear door bracket I will have about 9 (i think) holes in the door, so I want to put some plastic caps in them to seal it, anyone know where to pick these up, or do people understand what I'm asking??

I have what is similar to this pic but the plate version... and want to take it off and put plastic caps in the old holes....

Hope this makes sense, thanks in advance

Search hardware stores or your local automotive shop.

You could put the bolts back in the door. If you have that door you could buy the mantec swing away for the td5 style door. It comes with a specific plate that mounts up to it.

Lowes actually have little plastic plugs that would work. They are in Hardware under automotive.

They are those plastic push plugs used to hold interior panels in (the kind you always ruin when you take them out)

excellent, easy to find stuff then. I was searching landrover sites, but I'll take a quick trip over to the local ace hardware and see what they have.

thanks everyone
