Sourcing Parts

I know this has been asked before - but cant find my answer. If LR South doesn't stock a part I am looking for, where else (other then LR North or Atlantic British) can I look? preferably less expensive.

Thanks in advance!

Depending on what you are looking for, I have found many parts for my Defender on PartsGeek. Otherwise, the kind folks at Rovers North have always helped me out.

Rovers North

Check the vendor loft on here too.

16 months of almost weekly ordering from Roversnorth and I've never had an issue with customer service or parts.

Brian at Defenders Northwest has always been a pleasure to deal with. He certainly gets my vote.

I find the only truly responsive and knowledgable supplier stateside is RoversNorth.

That said, Ive ordered and highly recommend the below, but be prepared for longer response times, friendships with eccentric personalities, "don't know who the manufacturer is but I can check," better prices, "we don't have that but can order one for you," and incomplete web presences.

safarihp
rovahfarm
rds
atlanticbritish...ask for Eric R
bputah
landrovermerriamparts
lucky8llc

I find that buying Rover parts is as eccentric as the Rover itself....

Also, your best prices will be with UK vendors as listed above even with shipping and possible import duties. Shipping times are very reasonable as well. But it is in good form to support your stateside vendors if possible!

And finally, download the parts and service manuals online and search for parts by part number if you don't do so already. Took me a while to figure that one out...
