Sourcing engines.

I did a search and there are so many threads about TDI performance and 2.8 performance but I could not get a clear idea as to where everyone is getting these engine from. discotech industries and M & D is all I could derive is that all? I remember seeing some thread way back when about a place that sells TDI bolt up kits for d-90... did I read that wrong? Where is everyone getting theie engines from? Thanks.

I got mine direct from M&D. Most suppliers of the 2.8 WITH conversion kits for defenders are just reselling M&D kits. they are the masters of this application.

Yup, M&D. Communication can be difficult at times and the exchange rate is obscene, but the kits are very complete and well thought out.

I have found out that just about everyone in the UK doesn't check email regularly, whereas if you call them on the phone, they are always right there and responsive. I think it's a cultural thing.

Of course if you get it through me they answer my emails. And I overcome shipping problems as well.
