Looking at RAVE for the NAS Defender, the majority of the connectors are AMP/Tyco 070 series Econoseal III, with some Sumitomo sealed HW and HM series and, what looks like, AMP/Tyco 250 series Econoseal III.

I may be able to supply some of these, or point you towards a supplier.

GOOD NEWS!! located and ordered the proper connectors at the bulkhead ....
so the harness will have all new pins and wire from the bulk head to the taillights

now just have to source the correct wire colors ........

i'm in the middle of completing one right now i actually split up the harness into 3 individual units ....fuel pump harness , rear taillight harness and interior /aux harness much easier to locate a problem and if you lose a ground or short the taillight harness the fuel pump harness is totally separated not sharing the same ground or in the same loom just my .02 i would dump those brit connectors in the rear too susceptible to water intrution

OK so this is what i started with and here's a pic of the left side taillight ,just have to re secure the new harness .. all connections are soldered and industrial heat shrinked.."no connectors" customers request and i also put the anti chaff harness loom on after the pic ill try to get some more updates soon ...

and if your wondering blk/white=marker light...red/white = brake ...brown.=.reverse...blue/white = lt blinker black = ground ..until i source the correct wire colors

In the first pic, it looks like you used the factory harness and just spliced in the sub-harnesses.

I'm going to take a stab at building a fresh harness entirely. If that becomes too much of a nightmare, plan B is to try to find a late 94 harness and modify it to work.

Does anyone here know the differences between the early 94 and late 94 chassis harnesses?

actually i just cut it in the middle to remove it easier with the rats nest in the back ,i built the harness totally from the bulkhead connectors back . once you cut it apart you'll find some weird things when they built it .. the harness that i'm building now is for a 97 auto wagon so there's a rear wiper / defrost rear light ect , customer requested to remove the speaker wires ..

as for the stupid connectors in the rear you can simplify with weather packs or something similar much easier with all new wire too

As a follow-up for anyone finding this thread, details for acquiring and installing a new harness can be found here:
