Soft Top Tire Carrier Bushings

Has anyone removed the bushings from their tire carrier and put new ones in? I got the kit from Nashvillerovers and I was wondering how hard it is to pull and replace the bushings. Is this something I can do or need to have a place do it. I was hoping not to destroy my current bushings. They aren't bad and I figured I would sell them to someone who needs them. I am opnly replacing them because the bolts would then be stainless.

Is it as easy as pulling a pressing a bike headset?
