Snorkels

Anyone have a good place to get one.... I need a Left Hand one - for a 2.5TD

Found some on ebay, dunno if they are good, but they are in the UK.

Prefer to deal with a US company if possible, but prefer not to spend $400 if possible

The UK/EBAY one is $150 USD

IMO, the Southdown design is the best on a Defender. You can buy direct. If you want to save money, you can buy only the part that goes on the wing and have the pipe made up locally.

The design is okay but the aesthetics lack. I replaced my Southdown with the Mantec series version using the same hole in the wing. Either way, raised intakes work and are worth the $$.

I guess I have the opposite view. IMO, the Mantec ones are very ugly and the Southdown ones look great.

Those southdown ones seem to cut through the corner of the fron wing.

Doesn't the intake go to the side "vent".... why cut a hole in the wing when one is already there from the factory?
