So being RHD easiest installation would to be to install a RH side vent mount. Which is what I have, this avoids having to relocate your heater box intake, which can be done but takes an extra step. You will plum the snorkel right into your existing air box and call it a day. You can go cheap and drill a hole but that is about as dumb as welding on a bumper. Forgive please I'm sorry but you have to look at the longevity of the build and the trucks life. Ppl spend thousands of dollars to Rnd bolt on products so you don't have to permanently alter the vehicle! Just my opinion, I had to spend a small fortune replacing all the cool add ons from the previous owner. Good luck either way, if you go ahead and just drill a hole in the fender I would recommend the LH side, it will be easier to plum the line for the snorkel around the air box rather then the brakes/and pedal assembly's on the RH side.

I'm probably not going to do anything to permanently alter the vehicle. I was pretty lucky because the previous owner kept his defender stock apart from putting on alloys (which are for sale if anyone wants them). Do you have the long tube that goes to the air filter?

In the end I didn't do anything. I saw Big Blue (my Land Rover) for who she really was.... (Basically I couldn't find anything). I also realized that I really didn't need a snorkel. I'm sorry I couldn't help better! Click image for larger version
