Snorkel for a 2.5NA and 200tdi the same?

I'm curious if a snorkel for a 2.5NA and a 200tdi are the same? What about the 300tdi? I still haven't decided on a 200 or a 300, but I think I will go the 200 route and want to make sure the snorkels all fit the same.

Ok, so no snorkel until I figure out if I'm going 200 or 300.

or you can go with the appropriate wing-top snorkel (depending on whether or not you a RHD or LHD truck) and be engine-agnostic.

For the pre 200Tdi, you need the "through wing" or "through bonnet" type, look at old camel trophy pictures to get the idea.

As was said, 200Tdi (and euro V8's) had the intake on the LH side

300, Td5, puma, have theirs on the RH side.

although it isn't difficult at all to get the inside plastic bit of pipe and cut a hole in the side of the wing if you want that look. I prefer the through top type, but it does permanently butcher your bodywork shoud you ever decide to remove it.

I will take a picture on mine later today or tomorrow. It's a 2.5na setup.

Mantec Parts:

1-AW3.9R (RHD)
1-AW3.9L (LHD)

1-AW3.5R (RHD)
1-AW3.5L (LHD)

One is for a 3.9 petrol, the other is for a 3.5 petrol. With an adapter, I'm sure you could make it fit for a 2.5d.

The mantec snorkel requires absolutely no cutting, drilling, or other modification of the wingtop. That is the way to go.

Thanks! That's probably the way I'll be going. The less I cut and drill, the more I like.
