Snorkel Cap?

I am going to be building my own snorkel, I was wondering what to use to put on top, keep water out etc. I saw one that had a pre filter on it.

Any thoughts.

Yah, that was a good snow!!! Hope we get a few more of those. Here is a good one of my dog lost in the snow, that he isn't a miniature lab. He is a FULL size 110 lbs lab.

Everytime I look at those photos, I NEED to go skiing!!!
