Smooth roof headliner same as ribbed?

Hey folks... I'm deliberating over whether or not to splurge on a smooth roof as part of an ongoing project... but I hate to find myself paying exorbitant amounts for a new headliner down the road when I already have a decent one I recovered last fall. Are the smooth and ribbed headliners the same? Thanks much -Dave

Talked with Lasalle and they say the ribbed type needs a woodie "rib" inside to support it. Smooth tops don't need the woody.

Thank you very much about the info from lasalle! Very helpful! I'll be sticking with the ole' ribbed roof. It doesn't leak too bad and I like the look, personally.

Thanks again - dave
