Slick Shift

Just installed this on my LT77/200TDi and personally, I like the shorter throws and overall feel.

Previously had fitted one to a customer's NAS 110 with a R380, but with an aluminum shift knob. Not sure if I'm splitting hairs, but I feel that the extra heft of the alloy knob was noticeable.

Just curious of what sort of experiences others have had?

I have the slick shift on the 110 r380 with an alloy knob, kinda cold in the winter. I really like the shorter throw but I think my wife appreciates it even more. I do think it makes for easier/smoother shifts for her compared to the 90 without it and the stock lt77 set up.

Installed one on my LT77 a year ago and it just so much more civilized and pleasurable.

I have had one on my truck (R380) for over a year. I love it.

Paddocks in the UK. If you do a bulk order say three or four its really inexpensive for shipping. Rovers North also carries it and it is already here so no overseas shipping but a few more bucks.

Are you guys able to pull the rubber cover back over the shifter assembly to cover the transmission tunnel hole? Now that the whole unit sits higher, the rubber cover doesn't fit anymore?

Just pull the shift boot down one or two rings of the bellows onto the shft tower. It is barely noticable once done.
