Skinning doors in steel?

Is there any reason why when re-building a set of doors they could not just be skinned again using galvanize steel sheet instead of alu?

Heh no just thinking about cost of re-skinning 5 doors and the fact it would not corrode the same way and be less prone to wavyness. Not like we have a post-war steel shortage or glut of aircraft to recycle these days.

There is a guy up your way making cast aluminum doors. I think Kevin B can tell you who.
