Skid Plate Mounting

I got a new equipe skidplate in the mail from Lucky8 2 weeks ago and tried mounting it this morning. I could not find the right place to mount it. I think the problem is that it won't fit with my current winch bumper. Attached is a pic of the bumper. Do you guys know where the skidplate is supposed to attach? It seems that the winch is using the perfect mounting points.

Abeer I have a skid plate that might work with that bumper if you want to come by and take a look let me know. Does anyone know if the equipe will work with an ARB? And more importantly why is your truck muddy?

will not work on any bumper that is lower than the fender line. ( I saw a bumper from the guys in CO, that is very thin , tha tmight work )

so either get a southdown / mantec guard or an Equipe bumper

Wow, that one looks exactly like how I had originally planned my build. Then sanity took over when I realized that without air conditioning that black might not be the best choice. that and getting it right is much harder than other colours, so went with Zermatt Silver instead.

"I have Bumper, plate, sliders and the NEW style diff guards ( soon to be on Lucky8 site pictured ).

I'll post the pics tonight when I get home

Thanks again.

Any other input or pics of Equipe (Draken) gear welcome!

I hope Trevor chimes in, but with the ARB , a very little cutting needed to be made on the corners ( He isntalled it ) , then a week later I took the ARB off and placed the Equipe Bumper"

Did you have an ARB bumper and the equipe skidplate installed together at one point then? Will the ARB work with a little cutting?

Yeap,

That was on my D90 ( now own by Birdman ), Trevor at Roverlab modified the plate to mount the ARB bumper, once installed I did not like the look so I got the Equipe Bumper.

The cutting was done where the thicker part of the ARB frame mount goes over the plate.
