Yeah good work. Sucks to get an unintended basptism in Rover work, but at least you've got all the knowledge now.

Any word on the attempt to get back at the seller? Weren't you pursuing some legal action?

Yes it does, and it is always nice to learn... hard way or not.

I drove it to work today just because - it's comfortable. The forecast rain makes me thing it was stupid idea, due to the remaining rust issues. At least there's no road salts, right? And I got most of the undercarriage with waxoyl, so perhaps it won't worsen too fast. I'm meeting with Gary Landes sometime in the next week to see what he says regarding repairability of the body and frame... or whether it can possibly be stabilized.

LOL: Of course it was blowing like stink on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge... making me worry every time it'd wobble and wander whether I forgot some bolt or other... and the swivel pin shims need adjustment (I think) as it gets wobbles on almost every bump...
