sill removal

I am thinking I will have to remove 8 or 9 bolts to get my sills off is this close?

Just the outer body-colored ones? Those come off with maybe 3-4 M6-sized bolts on either side. Very easy access except corrosion might have set in. Recommend you order M6x20 stainless screws, M6 washers, and M6 nylocs in packs of 50 or so from McMaster for the reinstall. You'll find lots of places to use the M6's all around the truck.
