shortened trumpets

Does anyone know where i can get shortened and wider trumpets for the intake. ECR won't sell them independent of their engine upgrade. I already have a 4.6 so that doesn't help me. Machining them down myself won't help that much because they will be the same diameter.

We don't sell them because we don't sell parts. Especially stuff we don't make in house.
We are not a part source. Never were, don't want to be one. Its no fun packing UPS boxes.

RPI or JE Engineering can set you up, both have them.

Remember though that they will do nothing for your stock intake. The trumpets are bigger bore (overall diameter) and shorter, so they won't fit your stock intake at all. Your intake has to be machined and port matched to your heads for the stuff to do any good as far as flow... and in a perfect world your heads should be done too, otherwsie the flow will be restricted at the head inlet.
To make it all work you'd need to get a machine shop to flow your heads, intake and bore/ grind everything to match and install the trumpets. Any high end machine shop can do that stuff for you. It doesn't need to be a Rover specialist.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

I think the ones you are looking for are the ones on RPI's e-bay store. It's a kit that is supposed to work with your existing trumpet base and plenum. I believe you are supposed to pull your existing trumpets and replace them with the shorter, wider carbon fibre trumpets from the "kit". I can't speak for what performance benefits you will see.
