shop or individual for 110 assembly project NJ

Hi Guys,

After 2 or so years I have decided to find help putting my 110 back together to get it on the road. I basically took the body apart but left all of the mechanicals and chassis intact. There is some minor stuff here and there but generally just need to get it all bolted and riveted back together and I have all of the parts to do it with the exception of the rear floor section, which I will buy to complete the project.

I am not looking for a restoration, jus a down and dirty lets get this thing slapped back together and on the road deal. Truck in located in Little Falls NJ 07424 in my warehouse and can be worked on here or can be transported to another location.

I can be reached via PM and will provide a phone number to discuss....

Any leads for this work would be greatly appreciated.....I just don't have the time.

Compensation can be agreed to prior to start of project.

Kevin

I am interested. I would recommend getting a group of local guys to come by on a Saturday and coordinate a work shop day. All of us are willing to do this. A simple BBQ, a cooler of Beer and you will be amazed what can be accomplished. I am 10 miles away.

Very nice! I've had a few shop days at my house over the past few years. We actually do monthly meetups at Fuddruckers in Parsippany on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30p.

You already have guys interested.

I would find out what Saturday or Sunday works best for any of these guys.

We have at least 15 guys in the area that can turn wrenches and a couple Gophers (like go-pher more beer and go-pher pizza). I would also keep the guys on NJLR in the loop.

We can put ronnie in charge of lug nuts, Jason in charge of any bushings or suspension-related installs, I'm damn good at drilling out bulkhead vents and adding accessories, Tom can fabricate a killer center console for you, Keith can come up with a great excuse why he can't show up, Jimmy can oversee it all and say that we should bring everything back to stock configuration using only new genuine parts, and Dan can help break anything that's eventually fixed.

I think you are better at setting hub nuts.

Btw, for fellow local people, Harbor Freight just opened a new store in Parsippany today on 46... so if you need cheap tools, a quicker trip than going to Clifton or Saddle Brook.
