I have had good luck with Forward air, if the person is willing to drop the tcase off and you can pick it up you should be able to get it there for a decent price.

Randy where in GA is the thing located and where is the forward air terminal it needs to go to? I am fairly close to Atlanta and the larger regional airports and Hartsfield. Let me know if I can help out.

buy a rubbermaid tub, drill holes and zip tie the lid shut, I pack paper and foam in there to keep it from moving. Fedex should ship it because it will come under the 150lb limit, that is the fastest and cheapest way that I know of.

Rob Dassler sent me an R380 to my house using United Parcel Service. He put it in a cardboarb box. The bottom part of the box was sandwiched between two sheets of plywood and the tranny was bolted to that. I used the same box to send another R380 to ID. Worked fine. If I remember right it was around $100.
