SG swivel recover point source?

Searching here and discoweb has yielded very little. Does anyone have a source for the swivel recovery points that SG put on their bumpers?

The closest I can find are at McMaster and ebay (of all places) but they appear to run close to $100 ea.

thanks,

Tony

Tony,

Any good rigging supply shop should be able to get them. Crosby is the best and American made. Stay away from unrated rigging and by all means dont buy rigging made in China.

Look up under Rigging Accessories

Cheers

Thanks, Mike! Being the instant gratification junkie that I am, I'd love a part number if anyone can help. I've been looking at the specs on these things for a couple of hours online and it's not getting much clearer . . . heck, if anyone could provide the critical measurements of the SG ones i'd appreicate it very much.

Actek is who makes the ones SG sells. I can get the part numbers for you if you want them...

Excellent, thanks, Andrew. I'll get in touch with them tomorrow. It also appears that Equipe sells similar ones: http://www.lucky8llc.com/Products.asp?ProductID=2119

Tony,

If you use the Equipe ones, you will need to drill the hole out to fit the head of the back piece through. They actually mount from the inside out, the the retaining ring is slipped around on the outside.

The nice thing about the Equipe ones is that they swivel very nicely. The Actek hoist ring swivels as well (see attached)

Cheers!

Greg
