Question SG JEK Stage II

Is it worth the price (almost $2K with resevior shocks and shipping)?

Or would you go OME springs/shocks and buy yourself a cheeseburger instead?

I understand these types of posts have been covered before, but I want to know from people who have forked out the green to buy this kit. Is it really worth the price?

Thanks.

-Dan

I would do the OME setup and save the $1000. Its a very proven, stable, & reliable setup. Not saying the Stage II is not a nice setup but unless you have a real desire for that kit, for almost half the price you can go with the OME springs and remote shock they offer and leave you with good money for other mods or just bank away.

This is the same question I always ask. What are you looking to do with the truck? For Example, if it's your DD and you use it for easy to mild trails then yes OME is the way to go. If it's a weekend truck and hard trails then go with the SG. BTW If you are spending this kind of $$ why don't you go with SGIII and 3-link? This is the best bolt on step up on the market.

Thanks for the replies...

This is my DD and weekend truck for mild to wild Pacific Northwest trails. I am looking for a setup with confortable road manners while offering more versatility off pavement.

How do the OME Nitrocharger shocks compare to the OME LTRs?

There is a good comparison over on Expedition Exchanges site in the OME shock section. Goes into great detail about all the OME shocks and differant applications.

don't waste money on LTR OME. They are 3 times the price and you not see any gains from them. They do look "cooler" though.
