Service in the SF Bay Area?

First post here

I just got my D90 and wanted to have it really checked out and repaired (it has some issues) by someone honest and reliable who knows these trucks and what to look for. There is a shop in Livermore called West Coast British but 1) I have read some mixed reviews and 2) its a long way from me in SF.

Can anyone recommend a good shop close to SF??

Sorry I don't know of a good shop up in the city - I am sure there must be at least one. I can't comment on the Livermore guys - I have talked with them and met them at British car meets in Palo Alto - but that is as far as I have been involved with them. There are two down in the south bay you can trust. One is in Redwood City - Cerrone's European, the other is in Campbell - Exclusive British European. When there is a serious or big problem beyond my skill sets - I take my truck to either one of them. here are their urls: http://www.landroverrepair.com and http://www.ebemotors.com.

I have known them both for a few years - straight shooters and good work. I designed, built and maintain their web sites for them - I wouldn't be involved with them if I didn't have faith in their services.

I second Cerrone's - Frank owns the place and is a good dude.

x3 on Cerrone's.

Also, never been, but i have heard good things about Roverland up in SF. (415)585-7687. I don't want to take away from Cerrone's, but I figure Roverland may be a bit more convenient.

Thanks. I'll give Roverland a call and if it doesn't work out, I'll go to Cerrone's.

You won't find a better shop full of Rover enthusiasts.
