SD rack

Can anyone tell me how much a SD rack adds to the height of a D90 SW? I have one still in the crate, I believe originally from ECR to me via Colorado, and I'm not sure i can get in garage if I put it on. Just need to check before I attach it so I will know if I should list my house.
Thanks
