Sawtooth wheels for a 1991 D110

New to the forum guys, so sorry for the lame question. I recently acquired a 1991 Defender 110. I wanted to get some new wheels. I found some Defenders Sawtooth wheels , part #LR025862 will they fit a 1991 110?

Do I need to swap the rear axle to an updated disc brake axle?

Thanks in advance. I will post pics soon after its paint job

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns

30mm spacers should do it but spacers open up a whole new can of engineering worms.

30mm is good to go. That's what I typically run with most tire and wheel combinations, even on trucks that are configured for alloy wheels. The wider track gives the truck a better stance in my opinion, and the spacers actually help correct some of the steering geometry issues that arise from running a taller tire.

I haven't ever seen any mechanical failures that were wheel spacer related. I suppose if you had a wheel bearing that was on its way out that the additional leverage against it could accelerate the failure, but I think it's a negligible increase in load on a properly maintained setup.
