Anyone know what thread & size this "stub" is at the back of the Sankey narrow track? Or....what the original intended use was for this stub?

Long story short, but I'd like to adapt a trailer stabilizing leg at the rear of the Sankey and this looks like a great spot to mount such a custom leg (and if I can figure out the thread & size I can probably rig something up to go into there).
