Safari Cage Repair

Fellow ST owners,

My cage (rubber portion) has little cracks in various places and where the alpine bow fits an entire chunk was taken out on the trail.

What is the best way to repair the cracks and fill the gap(s)?

To be clear the rubber is not rotting - I know that once that process starts it's game over.

I want my cage to stay in as good of shape for as long as possible so any advice on how to restore it and fix the aforementioned issues would be much appreciated.

Finally, what is the best way to clean the Safari Cage? 303?
