Ship it over as a parts truck or a farm vehicle... It's not like you would title it and drive it on the streets. When you get here, buy a trailer and trailer it to the trails.

you should be able to bring it for a year. Then have it legalised.

Thanks guys...

I'll be living in NYC, so no use for it...and for the money, its worth keeping aside as we're planning on building a Rover based rock buggy to compete in the US Rock Crawling/Racing comps...

Just sad to see her go...had it been an easy 100% guarantee that I would not have issues, then it'd be there already, but with 1% chance, I can't afford it...

It is a 2001 model, ~70 KILO meters on it...

Would I guarantee a sale? pre-shipment? Can it even ENTER in the US?

You may be able to bring it in as a personal vehicle. It must meet import criteria, DOT, safety etc. It is a PITA

Yeah, well, AFAIK, it ain't DOT as >1997 and no airbags/plastic bumpers
