RRC rear window seals

The rubber is falling off where it meets the metal on the rear windows both on the left and right. Any suggestions using available parts or products to remedy this in a aesthetic way.
To replace the seals completely seems not possible due to no longer available parts. Any suggestions or prior experience with this problem?

Thanks

Repair for RRC Rear quarter window seals

I have been using Gorilla Glue and then putting 3M Black Tape over the affected area and it has worked with-out needing to redo. essentially stopping the tear. first drying out any moisture, then putting Gorilla Super Glue to glue the Black rubber to itself / glass metal, then placing black 3M tape or 3M Electrical tape over area...it has held up to minus -30 during winter and summer 90's.

Most important it works!

My 2 cents

I was hoping someone knew of a source for a pair of replacement seals.
A manufacturer for these would likely sell a lot quickly

I appreciate any and all suggestions.

I have a crack now where the seal against the metal is gone.

Erm, getting the quarter glass out to replace the rubber will ruin your day.

Yep, they crack where the rubber lays over the 1/4 panel--is that what yours is doing?
The part around the window is usually fine.

Rear window seals.

That is my only problem. I do not want water to get down behind the quarter panel. I'm afraid I'll ruin the looks with silicone or permatex. Perhaps thick 3 m tape is the answer. I have around 7 inches on one sise where the rubber is gone completely

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

According to my checking... These aren't made anymore because of regulatory issues in the EU with the solvent or glue used to bond the corners. Any new/old stock was snatched up long ago.

There is a company stateside that might be able to help, assuming someone can convinve them to make the extrusions or molds or whatever. This just crossed my mind the other day. Let me see if I can find the name of the place...

In my experience black silicone looks like shit. If you're willing to risk it though maybe try a product like this first:

Wow. That for the thousands of these vehicles still out there is something of potential crisis.

Seals

Is it true that a sunroof seal is also no longer available for a 1995 classic swb.

I cannot find one anywhere. The usual places say been on back order for quite a while.
Any and all suggestions appreciated
