RR Sport dash disassembly

Not a Defender question but hoping someone here can help. My wife dropped her ring down the center defrost vent in the dash of her 2014 Sport. Have tried too many things to list but it's deep in there and not visible. Next step is starting to disassemble the dash to get access to the defrost ductwork. Anyone have a resource describing the process?

There are a whole bunch of videos on YouTube about removing radios and center console. It's probably buried deep inside.
Not for the faint of heart is my opinion!

That's my reaction exactly. And then the dealer said $2000 at least to start. WTF?

Yup. Tried a bronchoscope but it was too short. Then a sigmoidoscope and got to what looked like the heater core but no ting. I'm sure it's stuck in some crack behind a flap.
