ROW Canvas Top on a NAS 90?

Has anyone modified a ROW Tickford Canvas Top to a NAS 90 with the NAS cage? I am not talking about the NAS 94 Tickford black tops with snaps. I dont want to start a debate about how they compare to other tops, which one is better, etc. I just want to know if anyone has modified one to fit -im curious. let me know your thoughts. thanks

I changed over a ROW hardtop to the convertible. I had an interior hoop, non-NAS, and it was a tight fit. Aside from having to make holes for the forward section of the cage you might have to add the side rope connections as well as something on the rear to catch the end of the rope. If you can get somebody to measure the rear ROW conv. top hoop to see if the NAS rear cage is higher? I no longer have mine. Most of the early ROW tops have a good amount of play so it might work?

I'd really like to know if it works too... a canvas top et 250GBP would be a good interim solution until I can afford a Badger top. I just received the belt kit to convert my 1994 NAS D90 to rails next summer (after I paint them to match the vehicle).

I can't see how spending 500 on a top then having to modify is a good idea. Plenty of good used tops in that price range that would make a better interim solution.
